Question: How do i get to the camp?

Answer: Access is either by air charter from Entebbe Airport or Kajjansi Airstrip or by road.

  • Driving; Gorilla Mist Camp is 405km from Kampala. It’s an interesting journey of about 10 hours drive.
  • By air; 1hours 30 minutes flight from Entebbe International Airport in Entebbe or kajjansi airstrip in Kajjansi (15km from Kampala city) to Kisoro airstrip or Kihihi airstrip.
  • Gorilla Mist Camp is 3hrs drive from the airstrip.
  • We do transfers from the airstrip to the lodge for those that prefer Uganda flying safaris.

Question: Are there any other costs involved?

Answer: Yes, if you want to go to a Gorilla Trekking trip, Gorilla Trekking permits cost:

  • USD 700 per person for Non-Foreign Residents,
  • USD 600 for Foreign Residents,
  • and Shs.250, 000 for East African Citizens.
